چکیده

The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) is a general-purpose particle detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) designed to study wide range of particles produced in high energy collisions. interaction beams with pipe, shielding and supporting materials can produce neutrons, photons, electrons positrons, forming common background radiation field for CMS detector. A Monte-Carlo simulation used predict rate newly installed In forward region, upgrade includes Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors called GE1/1. this study, an estimate GE1/1 response presented. flux predicted using FLUKA framework GEANT4 framework. comparison actual GEM slice data as validation.

the search for the self in becketts theatre: waiting for godot and endgame

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

Development of the data acquisition system for the Triple - GEM detectors for

In this contribution we will report on the progress of the design of the readout and data acquisition system being developed for triple-GEM detectors which will be installed in the forward region (1.5 < |η |< 2.2) of the CMS muon spectrometer during the 2nd long shutdown of the LHC, expected in the period 2017–2018. The system will be designed to take full advantage of current generic developme...

Applications of triple GEM detectors beyond particle and nuclear

Micro-Pattern Gaseous Detectors (MPGD) have opened the way for the construction of detectors whose performance surpasses that of the previous generations in terms of spatial resolution, high-rate capability and increased radiation hardness. Led by the Micro-Mesh Gaseous Structure (Micromegas) and the Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM), some MPGDs are mature technologies used in a variety of experime...
